Egypt's invisible hand

The Egyptian transiton highlights some of the most problematic aspects of political transtion: the rule of law. Which laws continued to be valid? How something that was unconstitutional according to the previous order continue to apply? So far there was not enough transtion in order to write a democratic constitituon. On the other hand, what may be the right parameters to interpret electoral law in a time of political and legal transition? Its hard to see how this decision of the Egypt's high court will promote transition in a positive direction, it sound more like voices of the past ruling Egypt's future.
