The key question is no longer how best to remove the Syrian dictator,
Bashar al-Assad. It is how to stop the Russian military, Assad’s main
backer, which is held responsible, directly or indirectly, for numerous
lethal aerial attacks against civilians, hospitals and schools,
including last month’s destruction of a UN aid convoy.
